'After The Love' is The Eves' first single release of 2023. Produced by Soren Andersen (Jack Savoretti, Amy Macdonald) and Lewis Gardiner (Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas), this formidable production team builds on the pair’s stand-out brand of uplifting melodic pop.

Channelling catchy, high-energy musical influences like Jack Savoretti, Coldplay, Sigrid and Gabrielle Aplin, After The Love tells a familiar tale of heartbreak and asks the question: 'where do we turn to after the love runs cold?'. Many of us will relate to the lyrics about the ending of a relationship and why, at times, the reason is that we are simply 'travelling on different roads'. The song showcases The Eves’ signature ingredients for writing infectious, anthemic pop with soaring vocals and a hook-laden chorus.

Marissa said: “We have always loved pop music, particularly songs that people can really relate to. After The Love is an anthem for anyone who has faced the heartbreak of leaving a relationship because it has simply run its course.”
