Not A Love Song is the romantic and beautiful new single from Scottish pop duo The Eves. Set for a surprise release on Friday 5th November 2021, it follows on from the pair’s previous releases Legal High and Brand New Day this year.

This latest single is a gentle and heart-felt Autumnal ballad from the Edinburgh pair to finish off a year full of unbelievable highs and success for an as yet unsigned act.

The Eves worked with producer Lewis Gardiner on this track, who also produced the duo’s previous 3 singles and has worked with the likes of Nick Jonas and Ellie Goulding. Not A Love Song is a pop ballad that could easily have been written by Adele, Lewis Capaldi or Harry Styles.

Caroline said: “Not A Love Song is simply about love - when two people feel something utterly magical happening between them, and are too frightened to say, “I’m in love with you”. As is so often in life, people fall in love, and for many reasons, never admit to those feelings for fear of repercussions or rejection. Things can be left unsaid. But sometimes, if you’re brave, it can be life-changing”.

Marissa said: “2021 has been an amazing year for us and the reaction to our previous two singles this year has been incredible. We decided to put out Not A Love Song as a surprise single with no teasers or PR build-up to round off our year in a really simple way - as an antidote to the madness and hard work we’ve put in over the past few months. We really hope people will love it and embrace the purity and simplicity of the production and meaning behind the song”.
